Pathogen Profiles - Information on Infection Control
Dear children, dear teenagers, and dear parents,
Those who are knowledgeable about infectious agents can better protect themselves and others from infection. The BzGA’s pathogen fact sheets provide essential information on major pathogens. These can be downloaded as PDF documents in six different languages—German, English, French, Turkish, Russian, and Arabic—and printed out. Written in plain language, the public information sheets explain the specific characteristics of each pathogen, modes of transmission, symptoms, appropriate actions to take in case of illness, and how to protect against infection—for example, through hygiene measures or vaccinations.
