Everything You've Always Wanted to Know: Questions We're Often Asked.
If you haven't yet found the answer to your question on the main pages of our practice's website, we hope you'll find it here. Based on the top 10 questions we're asked most often, we've summarized the most important content and information once again:
What services does your practice offer?
At our practice, we offer all standard medical care and treatment services for children and adolescents: primary care, preventive checkups (U2–J2), vaccinations, ultrasound exams, lung function tests, hearing tests, vision tests, allergy diagnosis and treatment, developmental assessments, and support and counseling regarding applications for medical spa treatments. In addition, we offer personalized health services designed for preventive care and to complement existing treatments: consultations and services for travel preparation (vaccinations, travel medicine, etc.), as well as certificates and medical reports for government agencies, daycare centers, and schools, etc. What if I can’t make an appointment?
If you are unable to make a scheduled appointment, please cancel as early as possible—at least 24 hours in advance. This is the only way we can make the treatment slots that become available—which are always in high demand—available to other patients. Additionally, failure to cancel appointments for Individual Health Services (IGeL) may result in charges for you.Is there a fee for medical certificates?
Yes. Medical certificates and other documents issued for government agencies, daycare centers, sports clubs, and schools are classified as “Individual Health Services” (IGeL). The costs for these services are not covered by statutory health insurance and must therefore be paid by the patient. You should inquire in advance or clarify on a case-by-case basis whether your statutory health insurance provider is willing to cover these costs. What are Individual Health Services (IGeL)?
Individual Health Services are medically sound and established preventive care, service, or counseling services designed to prevent diseases on the one hand and optimize treatments on the other. They are billed according to the Schedule of Fees for Physicians (GOÄ), but are not covered by statutory health insurance. Individual health services must therefore be paid for by the patient. You should inquire in advance or clarify on a case-by-case basis whether your statutory health insurance provider is willing to cover the costs. Please note that specifically requested examinations and their certification, as well as specialized counseling services, are also classified and billed as individual health services.
